#LetsFaceIt is a virtual stage since we've found that the power of speaking out is even more impactful in a supportive community.

By sharing these stories, our hope is to encourage more conversations so that there will be a greater developed understanding for the individuality of each person's mental wellness journey and that it will contribute to creating a safer and kinder state for our friends and neighbors in CT.

About The Campaign:

Last year, Mental Health Connecticut began the #LetsFaceIt campaign, where we shared unique stories of CT residents and a small part of their story. Each person's healing journey is different. We know that our 2022 campaign only scratched the surface of these important conversations. We also know that a journey to mental wellbeing does not have to be faced alone. That's why we're using 2023 to reopen the conversations and keep them going through May and beyond!

While sharing these stories in May, MHC is asking community members to support the expansion of its award-winning arts and wellness programming at The Family Wellness and Cultural Heritage Center. Through a partnership with the Hispanic Health Council (HHC), MHC will bring the Art of Wellbeing, a wellness program covering a multitude of creative outlets, to Hartford. The HHC’s vision of ensuring Hispanics and other diverse populations reach their fullest potential and achieve a healthy and fulfilled life aligns with MHC’s vision of creating a future where wellbeing is rooted in respect for the condition of being human and our mission of creating environments that support long-term health and wellness.
