$555 towards $500

At 28, I battled a mental health challenge, a big one, it landed me in the psychiatric floor at Hartford Hospital for six weeks of my life. With a lot of support, the right medical team and meds, I came through the other side of it. So, during Mental Health Awareness Month, I chose to be vulnerable, to share my story, in the hope that you will listen, empathetically and won’t be afraid, embarrassed or scared to ask for help when you need it, and you will be able to tell your story.

My story

Mental Health Connecticut (MHC) is bringing back their successful Let’s Face It campaign. Through Let’s Face It, they aim to break the stigma across the state by raising awareness around mental health and available resources and sharing unique stories of Connecticut residents overcoming challenges.

The mission of the campaign is simple yet profound: to foster a greater understanding of the unique and diverse journeys individuals undertake in managing their mental health. By doing so, MHC hopes to create a safer and kinder Connecticut.

Your support not only fuels the awareness campaign but also supports MHC’s impactful work throughout the state.

Donate today and make a lasting impact on mental health awareness in Connecticut.
