At 28, I battled a mental health challenge, a big one, it landed me in the psychiatric floor at Hartford Hospital for six weeks of my life. I was able to get the help I needed after a long road to finding the right care givers and medicine. I was lucky to have friends and family to support me. Because of this experience, the judgement and stigma around mental health, I choose to support MHC in their effort to achieve community-wide wellbeing.
