Annual IC Walk and Open House 2018

Join Mental Health Connecticut's (MHC's) Independence Center for its Annual IC Walk to take place during Mental Illness Awareness Week.
The event brings together MHC staff, program participants, and local partners for a walk around Waterbury's downtown district to raise awareness about the importance of making mental health a priority. Walkers visit local businesses along the route and invite the community to join in!
This year, MHC has added in an Open House starting at 8:30 a.m. Visitors can eat a light breakfast, tour the IC and meet with staff, program participants, legislators, community partners, and board members and volunteers to learn more about MHC and the difference we are making in our community. The Walk will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The 2018 IC Walk and Open House will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 8:30 a.m. with a rain date of October 12.
