To kick off Mental Health Awareness Month, Mental Health Connecticut (MHC) is proud to invite you to our annual fundraiser The Art of Wellbeing: Truth Be Told. We are excited to work with Fable The Poet (pictured right) as we explore the art of storytelling. As a nationally touring artist, Fable is highly noted for his work with youth; spreading mental health awareness using his personal stories to spread a much needed message: “At times, we all feel fragile. We are all paper boats entertaining the waves of life.”

Fable the PoetThe evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with an opening reception, including heavy hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, viewing of a special Mending Art gallery, a Wine Pull, an inspiring Storytelling experience, and the opportunity to mingle with a wonderful group of StoryKeepers.

The program will begin at 7:30 and include performances from Fable the Poet and graduates of MHC’s Write On! program. Through Write On!, participants use the power of storytelling to heal hearts and change minds. At the close of the program, we will hear from the performers about the power and impact of storytelling. Proceeds from this event will help support Write On! and MHC.

The Art of Wellbeing promises to be an exciting and inspiring evening. Purchase your tickets today!
